Not every player is lucky enough to be invited to participate Diablo 3 Expansion Reaper of Souls test. But this does not prevent us to be curious about this expansion. We have collected five things you would like to know about ROS.
Top one, Crusader an enjoyable tank class?
Expansion only includes one class Crusader and one Act. As a result, Crusader means a lot in our decision in the ROS purchase. Then how enjoyable is Crusader? Witch right skills and runes, Crusader can be a melee Tank machine or a range play style.
Advantages: a lot of strong defensive skills and utility skills for you to choose. For example, the defensive skill Shield Glare can "Light erupts from your shield, blinding all enemies 30 yards in front of you for 4 seconds" and the Utility skill Steed Charge which is very cool riding on a horse without being noticed.
Disadvantage: Wrath control and law skills. Even with some runes to generate the Wrath, it is still a major problem for Crusader. As to the law skills, generally it is has 30 seconds cool down time which is a little too long for a melee player.
Top two, monster density on level 70 good enough?
Without the Nephalem Buff, we can not help wondering what would the monster density would be on level 70 Adventure mode Torment difficulty. A lot of players have expressed their satisfaction on the monster density. You would always find a flock of monsters not a screen distance away. And the torment hard monsters proves to be really tricky. You can not beat them all just with a few blows. It is well balanced through Act I to Act V.
Top three, Legendary drops high and good?
Just a couple of days ago, Blizzard has stated that they would double the legendary items drop rate and nurf the Gambling legendary rate. As there is 330 king of unique legendary genres, you do not have to worry that you would get the same drops again and again. There would be a new timer system introduced to ensure that you would get legendary drops within certain time range.
Top four, how does Hardcore experience transfer to Reaper of Souls?
Without doubt that, HC with its death punish would gain popularity increasingly in expansion. The dead heroes would transfer the experience as well. Actually, you would get the paragon points at level one if one of your heroes have hit the cap of level 70.
