Great news from the official site that diablo iii reaper of souls friends & family beta test is now underway. This time is different from past. Blizzard planned to invite valued media contacts, key members of the Blizzard community and the most active 3000 d3 players from worldwide to join this beta. That's really a pioneering behavior.
Participants need not to sign NDA and they are allowed to share what they experienced in the beta. But all they see are part of the expansion and many contents have the chance to be changed before the final release.
Players can be happy now because the closed beta will begin at the end of this year. The members of the Blizzard community are still in the invited list. The beta contains all the contents of expansion except the final boss. If you want to join, adjust your Beta Profile Settings under the Account Management section of your Battle.net Account to get a chance. The invitations are extremely limited, as you can see from the picture below. You can get a try if lucky enough.
When the closed beta is available, Blizzard will launch Public Test Region (PTR) for Patch 2.0.1. The details are as below.
Now you can go to the official site to download the battle.net app if you don't have one. Anyone with the Battle.net Desktop App and Diablo III license can take part in the PTR test.
