This article contains the latest research of Monk Build and basic ideas for choosing the attributes of Diablo 3 Items. Meanwhile, we place a detailed description of why should we do that.

 

Choice of Monster Power leveling: ACT3-6


Firstly, we should talk about the requirements of the attributes of equipments.

 

Attack Speed > Critical Hit Chance > Critical Hit Damage

Above these primary attributes is the eternal pursuit for all professions! While, for the 2-handed Monk the most important is the attack speed which has decide the speed of recovering spirit and the times of releasing Wave of Light.

Critical Hit Chance is an attribute for each profession must reach the standard. The 50% is the essential factors to release high DPS!

For the Monk, the requirement of Critical Hit Damage is lower than Barbarians. Because of the request of attack speed and damage per second is the most important factors you should take consideration! About 250% - 300% is better!

 

All resistance, Armor, Blood Life, Dexterity

 

At present, the requirements of All Resistance and Armor can be considered slightly down. The modify of anti-injury system permit many players can stand in the Diablo

III. The life blood and dexterity can be maintained or improved. Especially in the life blood, After all, the blood life in 1.0.7 Patch is very important.  

 


The Core Functionality for this Monk Build:


1. The Active Skill you should choose Deadly Reach to recover spirit, the Wave of light, the Serenity are the necessary. The AOE of Deadly Reach can totally make up

the attack speed of Fists of Thunder. The each AOE attack of Deadly Reach would recover 10 spirits as long as there is critical hit. In the end, it would guarantee the times of release the Wave of Light.

2. The Serenity used to prevent the case is better, after all it is the high Monster Power level fighting!

3. The choice of Passive skill you can reference to your personal equipment. For example, if the all resistance and armor reach the standard, the one with everything can exchange to the movement speed additional.

4.The choice of follower: The thief is the necessary, except you don’t care the 5% critical hit chance.
